Jasmine Raines Physiotherapist

Jasmine graduated from Queen’s University with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this she completed a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Wilfrid Laurier University. During her time at Queen’s, Jasmine had the opportunity to work with individuals in various healthcare settings including orthopedic clinics, geriatric rehab, medical acute care units, and intensive care units. Jasmine is also a Sport First Responder and has done on-field sports coverage for various sports including soccer and basketball.

Jasmine has been involved in sports her whole life. Most notably she swam competitively for 16 years at the national and varsity level. Her interest in the field of rehabilitation stems from her experience dealing with sports injuries as a young athlete and the positive impact physiotherapy made on her return to high-performance sport. This interest continued to grow with various other work and volunteer opportunities in orthopedic clinics, retirement homes, and more.

Jasmine believes in empowering patients to take on an active role in their rehabilitation journey with the goal of helping individuals overcome injuries in addition to optimizing their physical potential. Her approach includes education, manual therapy, and individualized exercise prescription to
restore function.

Outside of the clinic, Jasmine enjoys swimming, exploring outdoors, and traveling to new places.”
