Austin Briggs is a Certified Athletic Therapist who takes a performance-driven approach to rehabilitation. Austin is a Certified Athletic Therapist with a degree in Kinesiology and a specialization in Athletic Therapy. He believes recovery begins long before treatment. He starts by building trust, understanding movement patterns, and identifying the imbalances that contribute to injury.
His philosophy centers on education, biomechanics, and progressive strength development. By analyzing foundational movement patterns such as squats, hinging mechanics, lunges, shoulder function, and core activation, he develops targeted, stage-specific programs designed not just to resolve pain, but to build long-term resilience. While he incorporates manual therapy techniques when appropriate, his primary focus is exercise-based rehabilitation to restore control, strength, and confidence.
He has provided athletic coverage at multiple levels, including university football, basketball, and soccer; high school football, rugby, and wrestling; Junior C men’s hockey with the Woodstock Navy Vets; and women’s U18 hockey at the USA-Canada Cup. He also served as an Assistant Athletic Therapist with the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans.
With experience managing acute on-field emergencies and complex post-surgical rehabilitation, including ACL reconstruction, Achilles rupture, and multi-ligament knee injuries, he brings composure, precision, and structured progression to every case.
Supportive, direct, and detail-oriented, Austin is passionate about helping athletes and active individuals return stronger than when they first walked in.
